Heading to the Atlanta Sacred Chorale

Colin reluctantly put on his "fancy pants"  (black jeans).  Then he got a little more into the spirit when he saw everyone else dressed up, so he grabbed a shirt and tie out of his closet.  When Caitie saw him, she said "Dad, Colin looks very nice.  I want to dance with him.  Come on Colin, let's dance."  Caitie earned a Christmas point for that.

The Atlanta Sacred Chorale show at Emory was fantastic.  When they first started singing, Tara and I both were blown away by the sound.  Tara: "I didn't know people could make those beautiful sounds come out of them."  Great singers and a great venue.  The kids were amazingly good.  Out of 2,000 to 3,000 people they were the only ones under 18.  Literally.  We sat front row center to ensure that we had no easy escape route, but they were troopers.  The lady behind Tara went on and on about how impressed she was that we brought them and that they were so good.

In the end, as we walked out, Colin:  "I think I'm going to die."  But he did admit that he enjoyed the first part of the show.
