A Good Night At the Braves Game

We watched Kris Medlen tie a record for most consecutive games won by his team when he started the game.  The record is now 22 for Medlen and Whitey Ford.  Medlen is absolutely dominant right now.  We went into the bottom of the 9th down 3-2.  Chipper, in the last live performance we will likely see from him, hit a double to the gap in right.  He took 3rd on a passed ball, then Freddie Freeman crushed the first pitch he saw to just right of dead center - very close to our seats.  The crowd went crazy, I lifted Colin high above my head which surely will create a hernia, and the Braves mobbed Freddie at home.  This also clinched a playoff spot, so we watched some postgame celebration in the locker room on the big screen.
