Balloons

Colin and Caitie like the new Mexican restaurant. They get balloons there after dinner. They each had an old balloon from last week and a new one from last night. The old ones were on the ground, so this morning I grabbed Colin's and popped it. Caitie: "Oh. Colin will be sad. You popped his balloon." Me: "It's OK Caitie, he still has this new one and it still floats." She: "Oooo Ooo, pop that one now." :)

Swimming!

Today I learned to swim solo with my swim vest. All summer I've been holding on to Mommy and Daddy for dear life, but tonight I ventured out on my own and now I'm loving it! I spent a full hour at the pool saying "I swimming!". I also told Mommy to "Go away" a few times. I hope I didn't hurt her feelings, but I do like my independence. Later, my friend Dylan "the bug killer" came to the pool. I have a minor complex when it comes to bugs, so Dylan helps me out by squashing them. He's Brooke's younger brother. That's when Mommy tried to play a game of motor boat with me. I told her, "No, I'm going to see my Dylan."

Potty Training

Today is the day Mommy started potty training. I did great! Mommy set the timer for every hour and when it beeped, we went to the potty. No accidents all day and no more diapers for me during the daytime!
